SCOUTS AND GUIDES

  

Students Performing scout & Guide activities
Scouts & Guides activities are a part and parcel of the institution. The scouts, guides, cubs and bulbuls participate in various activities under the able guidance of trained scout masters and guide captain. These activities train the children to become responsible future citizens of the country.

Scouts: 45 Cubs: 48

Guide : 30 Bulbuls: 36

Rajya Puraskar: 7 Scouts & 1 Guide participated in Rajya Puraskar camp at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Panvel.
Celebration of Scout & Guide camp on 21/02/2017

With reference to the letter no. F. No. 27353/11/2016-17/KVS (MR)/ dated 29.01.2017 the scout and guide camp was organized on 21.02.2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in our Vidyalaya.Students came at 4 O’clock and scout activities like horse shoe formation, method of flag hoisting, flag break and patrol formation, preparation of camp fire etc. were conducted.

The camp fire was organized at 6:30 pm. The principal of the vidyalaya was welcomed by the students and was presented scarf by the assistant scout master Mr. Sandeep. The scout master Mr. Hanumante gave a brief introduction of the programme.
The Cultural Programme (bamboo dance and dandiya) was conducted by the Guide captain Ms. Shelar under the guidance of Mrs. Madhuri Shinde (music teacher). Two skits were enacted by scouts and guides. The students also enjoyed different yells and claps. The principal delivered a speech emphasing on the role played by scouts and guides during the times of calamities and day to day life.
 
The group dinner was arranged for students. The parents of scouts and guides also attended the camp fire Programme. Then the lights went off. On the whole it was grand success of the Programme.
 
celebration of Thinking Day on 22/01/2012
  With reference to the letter No. F. 7353/11/2011-12/KVS (MR)/ dated 29.01.2012 thinking day was celebrated in our Vidyalaya on 22.02.1212 after morning assembly. First the Scouts and Guides formed Horse shoe. Two Scout masters and one Guide captain led the horse shoe formation along with cub masters and flock leader. Then Scout flag was hoisted by the Scout master Mr. Sandeep and the flag song was sung by the Scouts and Guides with music teacher Mrs. Madhuri Shinde. Then All Faith Prayer was observed by students and staff followed by Lord Baden Powel’s three group song was sung. After that all religious prayer performed and Shanti Path was sung at the end.

The Programme ended with national anthem. During the lunch break Scouts and Guides were given lunch. After school hours the Scout flag break was done .The programme ended in happy tone.
